Jorge Olson Media Biography

Born in Tijuana and survived the most dangerous city in the world.

Jorge grew up with no running water or electricity in the violence written city of Tijuana, Mexico across the border for San Diego when Tijuana was considered the most dangerous city in the world. There he survived more than a dozen assaults and several kidnapping attempts.  He started his entrepreneurial career selling sodas on the Tijuana-San Diego international border at the age of 16 to pay for his basketball tennis shoes and uniform. Now he’s considered the nation’s branding and influence expert.

Jorge decided to study in the USA and at age 18 traveled up to 5 hours per day to get to and from school. Inspired and driven by his family, he wanted to provide a better way of life for his mother and grandmother.  Once he graduated he fast-tracked his career and made it to Vice President of a software company at age 27 and CEO of US operations at 28.

He’s now a Branding and Influence Guru

He now advices hedge funds, mutual funds, investors, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies on strategy and branding.  Jorge has launched several private and publicly traded companies and more than 1,000 consumer goods.

Jorge has worked on several projects including Coca-Cola, P&G, Alacer, Foote Cone Belding, Schlumberger, Chevron, S&P, 5 hour energy, Fidelity, Chase, Wells Fargo, and more than 60 large consulting engagements.
